In early September, our family and neighbors will join others in Central Iowa who will be sleeping outside to experience some of the effects of homelessness. In addition to sleeping out, there will be a "Star" Art Exhibit to be held along our sidewalks. Please email me if you'd like to submit contributions of "Star" themed photography, poetry, watercolors, collages, video, music, clay, wood. Some donated art materials are available in a tub in front of 632 40th Street. The "Star" Exhibit will be on display around the first two weeks of September (weather permitting). Thank you for raising awareness about homeless youth, while following CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
